Recommend Me a Solution for Creating Waterproof and Relatively Heatproof Stickers

Hi guys,

I've had a super old TSC label printer which was literally so old it could not be used with anything but XP or older OS. It also uses parallel port for connection. Been using it for over 6 years but it had been used by the people before me in my role before then. Recently it stopped working so now need a new option .

It seems to use a roll of black and transfers it onto silver stickers which are relatively heat and water resistant.

Looking at the new TSC printers it's not clear if these use the same setup.

Anyone have experience with these kind of label printers, or can recommend me a practical option to print stickers? Typically only print 1-3 stickers at a time so not very practical to use the industrial grade Avery sticker sheets. I've had nothing but issues with alignment using their normal every day white stickers.

The stickers are used to put onto customised products and need to be relatively water/heat resistant - say up to 50 degree without discolour/fade/peel.

  • I think all the cheap office/home printers are thermal, so won’t work for you.
You can use Avery sheets for two or three labels at a time by just printing to the unused places on the sheet, and running it through again.
Otherwise, there are industrial label printers, but i think they are costly.

    Maybe the thermal transfer labels:
