1440p Monitor Suggestions

Looking for a 1440p 27 inch monitor preferably 144hz + was looking at the lg g1850 but the low contrast kinda turned me off wondering if anyone has any experience with the MSI MPG27CQ2 or MAG272CQR or Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q as well as any other suggestions for purchase money is no issue

    But it's contrast isn't "super-duper" so I guess it depends on what your priorities are?

    Acer Predator XB271HU is good, proper 8bit IPS panel, up to 144KHz, with GSync and ULMB for Nvidia graphics card owners. They are relatively expensive ($900 @ PcCaseGear), but you mention money being no object. You can even pivot the stand 90 degrees for reading mode.

    I have the GL850 and can confirm - it is excellent! High quality picture with a fantastic and solid stand (also support reading mode). LG is also pretty fair with exchange rate compared to other brands.

    I'm not sure how much of an impact the difference between a contrast of 750 and 1000 makes though. Both have fairly crappy black levels, so unless you're going OLED I'd say the difference is moot.

    I have the MSI MAG322CQRV. Not exactly the same as the ones you are looking at but it has been great so far and would recommend it.
