Rangehood Fan Issue - Please Help

So, the rangehood fan in our kitchen started making a loud noise when in operation. While checking for the issue in the fan, the washer type part which was supposed to hold the fan blade to the rotating axle was broken.

The picture of broken washer is here and the washer was supposed to be here.

Without the washer the there is no sync between the axle and the rotating blade hence it was making a loud of noise.

So is there anyway i can buy that broken washer like part only?
I did some google search but it was of no help.
Thanking all the expertise in advance.

Have you tried to search your model in onlineappliancespares.com.au?

    • Yes did search here but could not find the specific part..

Depends on the brand? either replace the part or buy new rangehood.

Last resort you could take the broken part to bunnings and try and find something similar.

Looks like that "washer" might even be part of the fan moulding itself that has snapped off, the little ribs on the "washer" appear to align with the ribs on the fan part.

You may be able to buy a replacement fan part if the manufacturer has a local presence.

Otherwise I think you're going to need to hack something together
Gluing the "washer" back on and affixing to the fan moulding with screws?

Insert another washer with larger diameter or a steel plate evenly balanced with some screws either affixing the plate to the plastic of the fan or simply interlocking with the ribs on the fan moulding.
    Tighten firmly!

    • Thank you for your suggestion. I could not find anything similar in the web so I ended up using glue gun to mount the rotating blade to the axle and apparently it seems to work…..

      • If the original moulded plastic broke, the glue is also going to break, I would be trying to make a mechanical connection as well if possible.
Even a small hole with some wire inserted and glued.

Rangehoods are dirt cheap to buy and take minutes to fit

Too me seems unlikely they will sell the part separately. Try to make somethig to suit.

    • Used gluegun and it worked… 😂
