    Seems like this site is just collecting email addresses.
    I added the item into cart then tried to checkout. It doesn't allow to apply coupon code to update the total. The only options are to go directly to PayPal (then pay 1.90) OR Checkout which requires registration. When registered it gives a confirmation and ask for account activation with the email address sent to the email. However there is no email in my inbox so far. No way to request the activation email again.
    I wouldn't neg this offer unless the same thing is gonna happen for other ozbargainers. Will wait for a while to see if it can send an eamil. Sending an email shouldn't take 10 minutes unless budgetgadget web site is also hosted with YellowpageOffers site :D

      Paypal checkout, login to Paypal, get sent back to Budgetgadgets site, go through checkout, apply coupon, then confirm payment. Coupon removes $1.90.

        I managed to go through paypal option. so no need to worry on the activation email. The id was same as ozbargain id. I still haven't got the activation email.

      Thanks for the hint "issh". I just managed to get it with Paypal option. You actually have to go into Paypal and then it ask you to enter the coupon at a later point towards the end.
      As I tried to create an account with them it didn't even allow me to use Paypal option again and asked me to activate my account to continue, which I can not do because there was no email received. If you do the same mistake, then you need to log off and try again on a new screen and go through Paypal option again. As long as it remembers your account which is not active it doesn't allow you to continue with Paypal option.
      +1 for the deal. However I don't think I would ever receive an activation email from this site.

      Are the negs for reporting the issue with delay of Activation email upon creating the new account? nice. I didn't neg the deal and wait till others confirm if they could buy. When this happened to me there were no single comments shown on the page. Even I could manage to buy using paypal later but the others are also having issues in receiving activation email. That's not a reason to neg a freebie deal which is why I gave a + for the deal and still wanted to report the issue so that other ozbargainers can directly use paypal method or else wait till next day to receive activation email. By the time if the deal is still on, you will be lucky.

    signed up, then says there's already an account for me email. I try logging in, and it says there's no account for my email address. Too dodgy for my taste, please fix your servers before advertising. If you can get that done I'll be happy to give you a bit more of my time. As of right now you've wasted my time.

      I didn't get to put in the coupon before going to paypal, so I wasn't sure if I was paying $1.6
      Paypal sends them your email, full name & address when you purchase.

      But I am happy with anything that's free.

    Make sure you select Paypal as you do not need to register. I tried the other way 2 hours ago and still do not have the registration code. Paypal worked fine, but you enter the code right at the end which is scary.
