Is It against The Guidelines to Post about My Company Making a $23AUD App Free for The Foreseeable Future?

Like, I'm personally happy they made it free(it was a little pricey for my own tastes) but didn't want to share it for it to get negged ya know?

  1. Is it considered a 'deal' if something that was paid is now free(can't promise forever but probs the foreseeable future)?
  2. Would you consider it 'shady'? Like, I genuinely think it'll be helpful but don't wanna come off a opportunistic.

Of course I'll mention I'm associated and all.

Just tick the box that you are associated with company

  • How many users does it already have? For it to be free, sounds like you are trying to establish a new product and using OzBargain as free advertising.

    • I mean, it has loads already, free now :/

    "Like… ya know… like… and all…"

Was this written by a 16yo Instagram wanna be model school girl? I want to neg it based on that opening line alone.

If you are going to post it as a deal, can you please get someone with a bit more in the way of PR skills to perhaps write it?

Plot twist - The app takes what you type, and turns it into text that a 16 year old school girl would write. Op used the app to type this post.

Oh, in that case, post away, I'll upvote the shit out of an app like that if it works that well…

text that a 16 year old school girl would write.

That's OK- maybe a 16 year old schoolboy will want the app.

          Or a 52 year old catfisher :-/

    • wouldn't being too formal be too off putting?

BUT that's a great idea, marketing will probs do a better job writing the text than I would haha

If I get the green light (and maybe some marketing help), you'll see it!

  • Both shady and sketchy
