I've been watching for 3 mins and it hasn't grown

Thanks, my shepherd demolished one in 1 night but it sounded like he was having fun.
    Got a couple

  • "Made long lasting dog treat chew"
LOL … I wish I was in advertising

  • How does the durability of these compare to antlers? If anyone’s used both?

    • +6

I'd say these would last longer than antlers but they have an over powering smell. I left the goat horns outside for when my two Jack Russells were out during the day. However they probably had lots of other distractions in the yard during the day whereas when they were inside at night they would be munching on their antlers in their crate if they weren't snoozing or snuggling up. Cow hooves are another option, they smell but not really as bad as goat horns and they're easier to fill with peanut butter as an added distraction.

Well, that was a cosy little story.

    • Where did you get antlers from?

My lab chewed through a large horn in about 90 minutes

I got antlers for my dogs from this seller on eBay (https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/viande1999/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1…).

My dogs love them. They are big dogs and heavy chewers. They've been chewing on small antlers (~90 g) for about a month now and the antlers still look like new.

If you buy multiple packs (2 or more), they provide bonuses including deer bone and trotter, which are long-lasting chews too.

My dog definitely prefers the antlers…

She's had the same one for about 6 months now, rarely chews on the goat one.

    • +1

Antlers usually seem to last longer. Bone (antler) vs. Hair/Keratin (Goat horn).
My dogs prefer the goat horns but they smell awful.

If anyone is looking to buy a few of these, it works out cheaper if you buy directly from WAG. I bought a 4 pack Medium for $26.99 with subscribe and save. They also have free shipping with no min spend.

  • What is this used for?

      They're dog treats

Didn't know dogs like goat horns for treat

These are one of the most terrible things to give a dog. They can cause tooth fractures, oral trauma and if a large enough piece is swallowed can cause an obstruction within the oesophagus. Not recommended!

  • Does one need lube for my horn to grow? Asking for a friend.

Deals were WD-40 then Watch and Grow Horn…

  • +7

how long does it take to grow the goat from this ?

    • Forever?

      • That's a lot of watching value right there.

I’m glad I read the comments. I was so confused about what people may have been using discounted horns on. LMAO.

I learnt so much in the few minutes skimming the comments!

  • Do billionaires' pet dogs chew on rhino horns?

    • +2

Billionaire's dogs have people for that.

  • +1

Oh. It's a dog chew. From the title, I didn't know what the heck to make of it and from the first few smart alec comments didn't help any for clarification. Horns and Antlers? This is serious yeah?

Anyways, these chews will suit a 2kg chi? I'm always on a lookout for whichever would be nice for my little terror.

    • You want a split antler, so it can get to the marrow. Got a Pug and he finds it too hard to gnaw through, so had to cut it into pieces.
