  I don't get why people want to mimic VHS…I still have VHS to convert to digital, the chore is to make it look as least like VHS as possible?

    Ransom videos. Much more threatening when its not crystal clear 4k video and atmos sound.

    It's for all the kids that never new what VHS was. Probably still don't and think the VHS in the name is just some type of filter. ha

  I had VHS much earlier than 1984, and it was wider than 8mm. Hi-8 etc. was a later technology but nothing to do with VHS.
