Agreed. Though I like the squarish design, it's just way overpriced. I'd happily pay $500 for one, nothing more for a miyota.
They are all supremely ugly. They have a few problems… they use generic cheapo movts… they charge a lot because they think they are premium… their designs polarise people. What an amazing business model.
For $900 you're better off with one of the more higher end JDM Seikos.

I didn't think the brand was particularly obscure either.
They've been around for a while but I believe the original prices were twice what we see here. Theyre in your typical higher end Westfields jeweller.
The day indicator on these watches is only correct once a week, and the date only once a month!
