Digitise Photos Stored in Plastic Sheet Album

Hi everyone,

I have a lot of printed photos in plastic sleeved albums. Unfortunately I can't pull the photo out for digitisation as plastic is permanently stuck to the photo. I tried to use my DSLR but there is so much of glare from the plastic that photos are not clear. Ideas/Suggestions that has worked well are most welcome.

Thank you for the response.

Flatbed scanner. you hold the page down and scan the pages.

I would persist with using your DSLR first.
If there is reflection from the glare, you need to find an angle that minimizes glare. There is something called a copy stand. used for taking photos of document/artworks.

You can improv using a good quality tripod that allows you to angle down to be perpendicular to the ground. The next part is to make the pages flat.
If you want to go down this path I can elaborate more

This makes you take 5 photos to reduce the glare.
