This is a great price for the heavier set.
If you want the super lightweight version Macpac has them on sale for $24 today (I just bought one) along with a heap of other varieties.

They're highly rated for travel organisation, the "top pick" and "upgrade pick" on Wirecutter:

Do you mean the spectre? $30 on the site?

      • That's the one.
They add 20% off at checkout as per the deal posted earlier today, making it $24 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/539548)

@UncleRico: Yeah, or free over $100.

Don't buy them if you don't need them, it's still a lot of money for a few grams of bags.

But I found them pretty awesome if you're backpacking or trying to travel light, stay organised, and compress your clothes into as small a space as possible.

Starter pack consisting of Pack-it folder, large cube, and medium cube for $28 at macpac is a pretty good deal too, though not as amazing a deal as the OP's Amazon find. I bought ONE Pack-It folder on sale at Snowy's earlier in the week for $22, and this gets you two cubes in addition for just another $6.

I've loved the original Pack-It's since I went island-hopping in the Whitsundays for 10 days with nothing other than a beach tote containing my computer in a plastic bag and a pack-it folder of clothes in 2006. Still have that original pack-it plus a couple cubes. Strong velcro makes for good compression if you don't mind smushing your clothes a bit.
