Lawn Mowing Small Business. What Insurances to Take out?

Hi guys!

I'm asking on behalf of a family member who is doing some researching on starting up a lawn mowing business.

What insurance companies can you recommend for a lawn mowing business?

I know there is public liability and disability insurance to consider is there anything else?

Many thanks :)

Also be aware coming into winter grass isn't growing much so will be harder to find clients. Tell your family member to look at increasing their services to include other things like hedging, high pressure washing etc. Basically expand your business so you have stuff to do when lawns don't need doing.

Workers' compensation, public liability, professional indemnity, and comprehensive vehicle insurance will be the bare minimums.

Additionally, you should seriously consider appropriate coverage for tools/equipment, business continuity, and personal accident/disability.
