What Is The Best Coffee Cup for Use on The Go and at Home?

So in the market for a coffee cup, thought I'd consult the OZB community on what their personal favourites are and why their type of coffee cup is the best.

I really don't care how much it costs as long as I don't buy it at full price. But not inviting people to suggest ridiculous prices.

Thanks.

Sttoke, many colourways, hold drink hot or cold for hours. 8 and 12Oz options.

    • Thanks, I kinda like that.

Is it fine in a backpack in regards to accidental spills?

      • As long as upright it's fine. If it tips over there may be a bit of leakage like a few very small drips. Safer not to put I
        In with books or electronics.

        • Thanks for the heads up.

We use paper cups. No washing or carrying around an empty container.

I guess you don't like high yield coffee cup investments.

Original Keep cups - can find them at op shops for very cheap often from conferences with a logo on them

What's the difference between original Keep cup and current version?

    • Not very leak-proof though.. but i prefer the glass one to the original plastic one.

personally - I would suggest try to avoid the plastic ones, I brought one from a cafe a few years ago and it made the coffee tasted really bad.

haven't tried the glass ones yet.

Here you go if you're after a high yield investment.

    I have a couple of these: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/447347

Had them for over a year. Semi-regular use, put them in the dishwasher no worries, have put them in the drink bottle holder on my bike and they haven't leaked. They've been good.

  • For non spill and long heat, The Thermos Stainless King and Thermos Sipp ones are great. Proper vacuum. The Sipp is easier to drink from than the Stainless King. At amazon the code for the sipp is B077NTWHVC

I use the Contigo West Loop cup mainly because I walk a lot with backpack and don't want it to spill, but it was also the most reasonably priced of any options I found.

Been great, good size, keeps coffee/tea warm insane length of time, and best of all - no spills.

I use Nespresso travel mug - keeps warm for hours, spillproof, wide enough to clean thoroughly, fits in the drink holder. Or a glass keepcup when keeping coffee warm for hours is not necessary.

Bought these a few days ago

The price is worth having to wash a cup and carry an empty cup around
