Hi Everyone. Unfortunately my Swan M50w speakers died after 5 years. They had thunder-filled bass and very clear sound.Ufortunately they are not available anymore and I want to buy another 2.1 speakers with 140+ RMS power. Promedia 2.1 speakers was on sale fro $230 in past, but now they are like $450!!! Can someone suggest any speakers matching my needs or any place to find reasonable price in victoria??

    Logitech Z623 2.1 speakers

    • I love these, get mine for $30 on gumtree with a broken switch that I fixed.

Not sure that you can compare these with those Swan monitors though.

    • I managed to find Logitech Z623 for $40 in superb condition on gumtree.

I am IMPRESSED with its powerfull bass. The sound quality in music is great too.

I love its solid built abs stylish looks. Love to be owner of Logitech Z623 2.1!

      • The 623's are fantastic, just don't crank it up to 10 all the time

  • Agree with other post, the Logitech Z623s are absoutely amazing, the bass is thundering and the tweeters are so nice (all THX certified).
plenty of used and new options on ebay.

  • I had the Z623's, two of them in fact, I blew both of them up
    Then I got a pair of audioEngine 5+ and a S8 for the .1
I also matched it up with the D1 DAC
Now I can crank it up as much as I like :)

  • Myav still have them listed on their website but 'out of stock'. MIght be be worth dropping them an email to see if they are planning to restock?

Amazon have a few left, not sure how much you want to pay and you 'may' have to use a 3rd party shipper on top?

  • OP,

Have you got a budget in mind? Looking for an equivalent speaker replacement? Or taking the opportunity to upgrade?

What do you use them mainly for? gaming? music? etc.

Had recently replaced my old Logitechs with a pair of bookshelf studio monitors. Mine are passive speakers so they may not be for everyone especially when you have to factor in getting a DAC/AMP. But I'm very happy them. Not missing my subwoofer at all!

Without knowing any more, Edifier and Audio Engine are pretty popular these days. Have a look on Amazon Aus?

    • I need it for music only. My Swan speaker could handle linkin park and metallica very well in very high volume. My budget is around $300 max.

  • I definitely recommend going hi-fi for speakers and get an amp. The speakers will last and only the amp will need to be replaced when it dies. Go to a hi-fi store and listen to speakers to find what you like, stores will occasionally have nice sales at like 50% off - EOFY sales will come soon. Or if you want to save more get something secondhand off Gumtree or FB marketplace.

I currently have a 5.1 Klipsch Quintet system with a Yamaha receiver connected to my PC.

  • Have a look at Edifier s350db for around $359
