JB Hi-Fi Not Refunding / Replying to Follow up

Gday there guys,

So last December i purchased a Logitech gaming headset from JB Hi-Fi which died after only a few uses, i returned it to them in store on Tuesday, 12 May. They took the faulty product and said the money would be refunded (was paid via PayPal) within a few days and that would be it. They did not supply me with any paperwork to say they had actually TAKEN possession of the goods.

Fast forward a while and no such refund occurred, i contacted them via their website form last Thursday, 21 May to follow up. This was completely ignored.

Their website lists no phone numbers to contact them whatsoever so can i ask for advice on next steps from here?

        Quite possibly just forgot? Accept people make mistakes and be grateful you even got a refund after your "few uses" after having it for 5 months.

        • I used it about once a month, cos it's only for xbox live so it literally had 4-5 uses and then failed.

  • No-one at JB will know anything about it except the store, or maybe just some people in the store, that you surrendered it to.

    edit - Seems the OP finally got around to calling the store and got a refund. Who would have thought?

    • It's amazing what can be accomplished with effective communication. Hence why a lot of the younger generation are screwed.
