Cheapest Chemist - Does Anyone Price Match?

Chemist wharehouse seems too be the cheapest for me, but it's an hour drive as well.
Is there A chemist that price matches?
Is there any store that can price match vitamins or other items found in A chemist.
I know bunnings and officeworks price match but they don't have what I'm after.
Of you know of any other sores that price match please also list them here.
Thanks in advance for the help.

If you're going to lengths to shave some money off vitamins, then, just don't use them. There's no proof they actually work or any better than eating healthier and fresher food.

The only caveat is if you have a serious diagnosed medical deficiency then better safe than sorry I suppose. But if you're fairly healthy already, you do not need them. Save your money for fresh fruit.

    • Doctors will prescribe them not just due to deficiencies, but to counteract the undesirable effects of some medicines too.

  • Amazon even they do not price match seems to update their pricing regularly to match what Chemist Warehouse is doing. With Prime you get free shipping.

https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/aboutus/faq under How does the Lowest Price Guarantee offer work.

      • Thankyou for guiding me to this, i thought they may have changed their policy. I have previously had difficulties price beating in store although I have no problem when placing an order over the phone.

    Cincotta is typically cheap

    • I agree about Cincotta. I find them as cheap or cheaper than Chemist Warehouse. Also, now that Chemart has amalgamated with Terry White I find them quite close in price to Cincotta.

  • Parmacy 4 less price match. Never a hassle either.

  • Depending on the vitamins your local supermarket may have them - Coles and Woolies stock a fair few vitamins

  • CHEMIST WAREHOUSE with their price beat guarantee. Best to place order via phone (as i have had problems instore) and make sure its over $50 to enable free shipping

    • At Chemist Warehouse if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian Registered Pharmacy or Australian Registered Retailer we will match it and give you 10% off the difference.

The price matching policy is limited to the retail limit applicable or a maximum quantity of three of each product.

Price beat with Chemist warehouse multiple times. There was no hesitation when they price beat

  • Price matching only occurs against LOCAL stores and it must be in stock.
Nobody is going to price match with a store an hour away
Its not considered "competition" because they know its not worth the drive.

Search around for a local discount chemist or buy online and have it delivered.
You might have to stock up on a few things to make the freight pay for itself or achieve the FREE SHIPPING threshold

    • as per CHEMIST WAREHOUSE price matching policy, f you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian Registered Pharmacy or Australian Registered Retailer we will match it and give you 10% off the difference. Actually no mention of LOCAL store.

  • Whilst searching out cheapest prices for an over the counter product I have to use constantly, I found www.chemistdiscountcentre.com.au were far cheaper than Chemist Warehouse but I only checked out this one particular product. They had free delivery for over $50 at the time too but now seems to have changed to $99.

Also I notice that Chemist Warehouse charge the same price for a product that is available without prescription (GST applicable product) as for identical product also available on prescription (so no GST). Except where you are a health care card holder and then you are charged the maximum pbs price of $6 or whatever of course. I wonder if all chemists are the same, I just had the idea that if I was at a Doctors anyway I could get a prescription and make a small saving on the GST but it is not the case.
