Honestly, if you need something starting out, you can't go wrong with Vistaprint. If they mess up the printing (which they probably will), they'll just print another batch for you.
Most 'print shops' dont actually do the printing themselves and just resell with a markup

I've been using Gainsborough Graphics for the last 6 years as the price is great and the service is impeccable. I buy 1,000 cards at a time, last lot was $65/1000, single sided. You can phone Denise Sells on 0425 335 094 and she did have a website but not sure if that's still going. Although I did my own graphics (specialised online business), Denise will do the graphics as well in the price and even send you a couple of samples via email to see what you like. No, I'm not affiliated with Gainsborough Graphics, just a very happy customer.
I've been using Gainsborough Graphics as well. Amazing service and hasn't failed me yet.
Have used moo print before and found it good quality.
These cards are awesome quality but not super cheap, good balance of quality/price imho: Print Storm might be worth messaging and see if they'll give us a coupon code.
