My controller has a pin missing. unless you can suggest a way of fixing. I like to find a new one.

I doubt you'll find first party PlayStation 2 controllers new, you will probably have to settle for second hand.
Third party controllers are available at the Gamesmen not sure if it is a bargain though. You can probably pick up a used PS2 for the same money.
