Removing Minor Scratches

How to remove minor scratches from a Black Jeep Cherokee Sport permanently and easy.
Any thoughts?

  • how minor? if its just swirls which stand out on a black car a detail/polish should remove.

  • I would use a ROS and work a buffing pad from medium to a fine compound.

    But it's a Jeep Cherokee Sport and this only works on the Jeep Cherokee Regular.

      Those buffing compounds will also work in the sport versions but you need to get a tin of elbow grease first. A dab of that mixed in will clear any sports model scratches.

      have you seen bowling balls in one of those machines?
      there was/is a whole series of vids munching a variety of objects

    I have used Meguiar's Scratch-X 2.0 on a dark blue Kia and it seemed to work pretty well.
