      I have 3-phase because of ducted aircon. I got the 19.8kw deal from GIO Tech posted here in Jan, you can make decent bank with 15-17c FIT :-)

          Origin and AGL. Origin also offers 20c but no discounts on usage etc

            @BilboBargains: Origin and AGL offer good FIT but limit systems to 10kW. I am Brisbane based and I called AGL today (ph 131245) to see if they would allow a system greater than 10kW on 3-phase and they said no. I even asked if I could have a 15kW inverter with output limited to 10kW and the answer was also no. I also tried the Origin number provided courtesy of CrocDundee (1800 557 700) and they would not budge from 10kW (some others though have been more successful with Origin on this number). The only provider I can currently find that accepts inverters above 15kW is Energy Australia with their 11.5c FIT.

              @Drmonkeybutt: Hey Drmonkeybutt - have you tried EA new 'ON' plan? They seem to be accepting systems larger than 10kw and has 18c FIT and is a close 2nd for me vs the Origin 20c FIT deal I got…

                @CrocDundee: Hi Croc, I did try signing up to the 'ON' plan last week and this is the response I got from their chat

                "As the Ultra Solar Plan is only a trial we can only accept solar systems that have an export rating (capacity) of 8kW or below."

                I was a bit bummed by this :-(

    What is the usual cost to convert single to 3 phase

      Best price I have seen is $700 to change from single to three phase. It's a new estate though! It depends on Energex assessment, area where you live etc. - usual cost should be around $2000-$3500. At times, it may even go up!!

    How do I work out if I have 3 phase or not.

    My current system is… I think about 8kw panels on7kw inverter. Keen to increase that if I can.

    Hi, please send me meter pics. Look for following on the meter :
    1p2W -for single phase. 3P 3*240/415v for three phase meter type. You are capped at 5kw for single phase and 15 KW for three phase meter type.
