  • Mind you, Apple fan here, and never owned an Android phone personally ever before, but it's sad that a watch requires a power bank these days! Can't it last all day, and leave it to charge while you sleep?

    • +2

It can. My Apple Watch series 3 gets in 2 days before it needs charging, and that’s with at least one workout each day. I’m guessing the watch power bank would be ideal for camping etc., or extended periods away from a socket.

      • It really depends on your lifestyle and the amount of activity you do. I find with around 2 hours of workouts a day the watch will last all day but at 3 hours of workouts a day it won't last the whole day.

This is ideal for when travelling (not right now), with long layovers, etc. At the slight price premium you pay over just the corded charger, it's a no brainer.

  • What a ridiculous product. Wouldn't you be better off bringing a regular powerbank and USB watch charger so you can charge your phone too? I guess you could use it for an Apple watch with cell so you could forgo the phone, but really, would that be frequent enough to warrant this specific use powerbank? Why would a Belkin spend that much money to produce this?

    • My knockoff version has a USB port for charging too. I can’t believe this doesn’t!

You wouldn’t be able to use the watch to replace a phone as you’d be charging it 2 or 3 times a day!

    • The cellular version doesn’t work like that.

You can make and receive calls on your watch but only if your iPhone is on.

      • Cellular means you can make calls without the phone

  • 1st.world problem right there…
