After 29 years of straight growth the lucky country is officially in recession - I have never known a period of 'negative' economic growth what happens now?

Good job folks, LNP has accumulated more debt in 6 years than the period from federation to 2013…and that was before covid 19 and bushfires.
Not to mention all the rorts and illegal debt collection.

Labour wont win another federal election until they distance themselves from the greens and go back to its roots of supporting the working class (middle class)
It is clear that a small 1-3% of vocal idiots in our society support the greens but there is a large 80-90% that LOATH them ALP last election listened to a loud minority over the quite majority.
Honestly I have seen nothing from this federal labour that makes me think that would be good government ideas like quotes of female MPs, increasing unskill (humanitarianism) immigration, I stupid idea women earn less then men (which research proves doesn't really exist) and the worst of all creating a tax system that further encourages bludgers and hurts the middle class just makes me think it is a party chasing political correctness over the actually politics of running Australia
Im not saying the LNP is a lot better but they have largely ignored the PC crowd and other rent a crowd virtue signallers out there that has started to become toxic in western culture and the majority of people HATE the PC crowd but cant say anything because sadly the media and vocal idiots will vilify them them thus they vote for the party that is as far removed from it e Collision, Trump, Boris etc
USA non farm payroll released yesterday, much better than expected. Gold prices falling. All these indications point to a much faster than expected recovery.
Depends on the rest of the world. USA in particular.

We are on the brink of recession. it's been coming since the end of last year. Prediction was end of this year or last quarter.
