    I searched the reviews online. Most common ones are there is a huge issue with the control board.
    The problem is that while you turn on a headlight, these scooters slow down and can’t run uphill. Anyone who owns this can provide their experiences?
    I wanted to buy it, but then not sure whether I should take the risk

      Hi Gundala, these issues have become much less frequent in later revisions. More common in 2018 models.
      With us, you will have warranty coverage anyway so you have zero risk. Full replacement/refund if you have any manufacturer issues within 30 days of purchase, and free repair thereafter.

    just bought one, still ahven't charged my credit card. i suppose it will be charged when they send it out. also paid extra for expedited shipping.

      This is E2 model 2018, jb is E22 which is different later version I think.

        my understanding is that the e22 is an upgrade of the es1, with some components from the es2/es4 line, such as 300w motor. other improvements include 2.5w LED lamp (vs 1.5w), and 9in wheels (vs 8in).

        I don't think these minor upgrades is worth paying double the price of the es2 over to be honest.

    for those who don't want to get the extra battery for the additional speed and torque, i believe you can flash hacked firmware to unlock assuming you don't mind less travel distance.

            @pitpicker: I have been riding on the footpath but I have set route that mainly includes parks, shared pathways, cycle paths and back alleys. If I'm on the footpath and it is busy I always get off or slow down to allow room for pedestrians. I wear a helmet all the time, mostly to be safe and also, to deter any unwanted police attention. It is still not legal to ride these in public areas in NSW, so ride with caution.

    I ended up buying the Xiaomi M365 Pro a few weeks ago and love it.
    Compared M365 to ES2 and thought M365 was slightly better. Glad I got the pro as has extra grunt and range.
    I paid under $800 for the pro in Brisbane.

    Wow nice price. This one is a good solid entry level model, just note its not gonna do any steep hills, adding extra battery pack isn't gonna help there.

    This is actually unbelievable, still not even moved from 'preparing for shipment' despite paying more for delivery. I've contacted Amazon 3 times and they say they can't help. Seriously pissed off now, especially seeing as I bought it two days before the deal was posted here, and paid for fast shipping. It's horrendous that Amazon can't provide me with any updates either. Can I ask those who received it, who was the actual seller? I'm assuming it didn't come directly from Amazon?

      just called amazon and they suggested I cancel the order and reorder using prime delivery. They don't know why there is a delay, and they said it would take 1-2 days to get a response from their logistics, so quicker just to reorder.

      They have placed a note against my account to refund the $50 difference when the product has shipped.

        I private messaged you but you never replied. I ended up cancelling the order and reordering because it got stuck in the dispatching stage. I received my re order a few days after ordering, and I attached an external battery and made it an ES4 and it’s fantastic. It’s really fast in sports unlimited mode. I prefer it to my Xiaomi 365 Pro.

      I can confirm that these are not authorised sellers and we do not cover warranty from them. Of course, who you buy Segway products from is completely up to you, but official resellers (including Amazon AU) are the best way to go if you want to be safe and have warranty coverage.
