Recommendations for monitors that are similar to Dell U2719DC

Hey, I am looking for a monitor that has traits similar to the Dell U2719D, I am using it for studies related to coding and data visualisations, watching movies and some light gaming which does not require high refresh rates. As for the budget, somewhere around the same price as Dell U2719d is fine. For the resolution, QHD will be good enough. Please help this poor soul out. Many thanks

I am using ACER CB282K, got it from Officeworks. 28 inch 4k IPS, Color corrections for design, Pretty satisfied. $499

  • I've been searching for a 27 inch 4k monitor for over a month now, there's zero stock anyway apart from $800+ models.

  • For me, it doesn't need to be 4k, QHD is good enough

    hi Vincent,also to add:)

Dell monitors are really good but are super expensive for me. I reckon other manufactures have almost similar monitors.

I have LG 32" qhd https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-32GK650F-B-gaming-monitor. So I wanted something for work and watching moving in a dark environment. Since IPS has bleeding issues, I chose this. So far so good.

Make sure you read reviews on rtings and amazon to make your final decision :)

Is there something about the Dell monitor that you don't like? If you're after something similar to U2719DC and at the same price then you could always get that…

If you can wait, keep an eye out on the Dell Outlet page as they have deals every now and then. I got myself the U2719DC late last year in "As New" condition for $440!

    • Not really, I am just trying to see all the options available before I decide, and wow that price is definitely worth it for that monitor.

  • hey im in the exact same boat as you
im looking for a 27" QHD to use predominantly for home office purposes
after some general googling, ozbargain reading and whirlpool reading i've ended up at:
    DELL U2719D and U2719DC
    and
    HP Z27n G2
cheapest prices on staticice (nsw) for each of these is 600 and 633 respectively; so not much in the price
was hoping U2719DC would come up on dell outlet (this is where u got my U2415 - which i love) but could be waiting god knows how long
alternatively might grab an AOC 27" QHD IPS but the worry bear has got me… concerned i've got it too good now with the U2415 and i won't like the AOC

OP: if you've learnt anything new do share.

  • Have a look at the Lenovo ThinkVision T27h-20.
27 inch 16:9 QHD with USB Type-C, current year 2020 model.
Only missing a DisplayPort Out. The P27h-20 has that but yet to be listed on Lenovo AU.

Got mine for $480 during Ebay 20% off. Couldn't be happier.
