    laughs in black friday bundle

  • Pretty good. My son wanted this and Mario maker 2 for his upcoming birthday so I got both. mm2 is a good deal on amazon as well. The burn is we already have mk8 on wii u but he wants the deluxe version for the extra characters. Plus the old Black Friday bundle devalues the game in my mind at least.

  • These are the prices they have come to now… iso life

As much as I love this game it still shocks me that a Wii U game goes for this price!

    • I agree, does the WiiU version go much cheaper?

      • I got it from JB for $10 when they were dumping all their wiiu games. Not the "Deluxe" version though unless you buy the DLC.

All they did was add battle mode and include the DLC.

Its crazy… I got negged other thread when I said Nintendo was lazy lol

(Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, N64, Wii, 2x Wii U, DS Lite, 3DS XL, N3DSXL and Switch owner here).

They do still have time to release a new MK on Switch to be fair, my fingers are crossed. Don't get me wrong I love this game and would prefer to it to no MK on the Switch, but a new one or more tracks would be delicious!

Even more shocking is Burnout Paradise being a headline game in the Big W sale. $10 Xbox 360 game, even cheaper on PC 10 years ago. $60 for a remaster is wrongtown.

Old school gamer, Mario Kart 64 has always been my favourite, until this one

    • I'm a SNES Karts fan so great to play that through the Switch online thingy!!

more than 3 years later and nintendo games still $60+

Good thing I mostly gaming on PS4.

The only games worth buying are nintendo exclusives. Everything else is cheaper on other platforms and they look and run better.

Can't believe ninty haven't made some DLC for this - surely they could get another $10-20 out of the millions of buyers with some new tracks, characters etc….

    • Nintendo doesn't need to, as the price never drops and people will still buy the game.

    • +2

They did, then they packaged the game+DLC for a new console and named it "Deluxe".

  • One of the best games ever!

    • Agreed, its all I play with my son when we play the Switch. Wrong place to ask but any other family friendly game recommendations for the switch?

      • +1

Pretty much 99% of the Switch game catalogue..

      • Yes, the most of switch games are very much family friendly. Not sure how old your son is, but he might like " Yoshi's Crafted World ", " SmashBro(of course)", " Animal Crossing " named a few.
" Super Mario Maker " series are very good ones for kids / family, see if you can clear a game your son creates !!
