This is an excellent price for a genuine Sandisk from a quality retailer. eBay is full of counterfeit memory cards. The price only dropped this afternoon 10 June 2020. The extreme pro has some of the best read/write specs on the market.

Sorry guys that was so quick. I literally purchased one and then posted the deal and 10 minutes later Amazon sold out.

Wow for a brief second the 1TB model was $345 also from Amazon AU! not US

I think Amazon stuffed up by price matching officeworks (who price dropped it to $345 recently but have no stock at all anywhere it seems) and quickly pulled the listing for the 1TB version not long after - they don't even show up as a potential seller of it anymore

  • Damn son. I snoozed! Good price!

  • Does anyone know whether Amazon AU colocates their stock? ie. same item from different sellers mixed together. The US warehouses apparently does this so the genuines and counterfeits are all mixed up.

My order says that it is coming from Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd. I can't imagine them sending me a fake, but if they do, then I know Amazon are easy to deal with when it comes to returns.

  • My order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Do you think it's overkill to use this as a secondary storage of my Microsoft Surface Pro 6?

    • it would be perfect in that role. I have a 256GB variant of the same card in my Surface Pro 4 and it works fabulously well. I keep it full of music and video for for my long flights pre-covid days
