Armor All Wheel Protectant $10.49 (30% off) @ Repco + Other Armor All Items Discounted

100

Highly recommend the wheel protectant. Also called brake repellent from Armour All. You do however need to buff it off a bit after a bit of time on black wheels. It leaves like a slight multicolour streak. Good for between wheel washers. Won't totally stop brake dust on wheels, but found it good to keep wheels looking good longer. Also Meguire's products on sale as well 35% off.

I nornally get a few cans of the wheel protectant. Stocked up already, from last sale. For those that haven't tried it yet.

      do it!

      • Do it. It's on sale.

  • What would one recommend to pimp ones tires?

I hear bad things about stuff like this? The silicone stuffs the tires.

    • Meguires have a gel for tires. https://www.repco.com.au/en/car-care-panel/car-care/tyre-car… Not on sale, but I use this one. The Autoglym one is probably similar and slightly cheaper at moment, yYou do need to let it set otherwise it can sling onto body work. I put on with a foan block. Let it dry a bit, then wipe with a rag for a mat finish. Does last fir awhile.

      • Sweet, I like Meguires other product. Their matte finish interior is awesome! I'll give it a try.

  • The Autoglym version seemed to work a little better and last longer for me.

  • I'm actually pretty impressed with the SCA Tyre Shine.
It lasts a while and is regularly on sale.

Interested to hear from the experts if it's bad for my tyres though.
