I bought one of these when they were on sale for $90 a year ago, they're good headphones in terms of build quality and sound and you should get a trial code for Dolby Atmos, the only cons are the microphone, as it picks up on headphone audio which creates a echo and cable length if you're planning to use these on PC.

I bought a set of the RIG800 for XBOX a couple of years ago, and like them far more than the Astros they relaced (and the Astros I tried and returned before getting the 800s)
What are these like compared to the cloud 2? The Hyper x has a special reputation though yeah, in a way like the audio technica m50? I have a corsair hs60 at home but having used it for work these past months, was about get some cloud 2s as well. These look decent.
I saw these before, but was turned of because
- Reviews complained about sound leakage from headphones into the mic
- Games not using the superior Dolby Atoms. Standard 7.1 headsets have a better representation of sound direction compared to these.
Been using an older RIG model for a few years, great unit. A few years before that, had a great experience with their customer service. Underrated brand. They just got bought out by NACON.
