Probably not a great idea to get these from a marketplace site such as Eneba.
There have been many cases where people's xbox accounts got banned because they bought codes from these types of places.

Plus JB usually do a 3 months for $48 and then get 3 months free, making it 6 months for $48

I love that I wish they had that right now so I could get from them.

I think the last time was March, they may again closer to the end of the year to coincide with Series X (if it comes out then)
I used it to top off my stack to the limit (3 years)

    • Not sure if they are risky. I checked couple of sites and they were alright. My 4 codes worked no problem.

  • Can GamePass codes bought from other regions work with Australian accounts without any messing around? Or do you need to change the region of your console or your account settings?

If only you read the above comment :)

      It's a risk regardless

      • The above comment says nothing about region restrictions. I'm not asking about the risks of the seller, as you pointed out, that has already been established.

        • Put two and two together.

          And save your negs.

There's risks. MS has been known to crack it with foreign codes.

          • @scuderiarmani: 'Put two and two together'? How exactly is the credibility of a single seller relevant to whether Microsoft codes are universally region free or not? The two are completely unrelated and there is no 'risk' in that respect if Microsoft's offical policy is to make the codes region free. It's a relevant question that had not been addressed in the deal description or comments and your responses are completely off topic and unhelpful. If you received negs from the community then they are warranted.

@mr_me450: I don't care, do what you want. If you know the answer, don't bother asking.

Or check what's happened on the Internet with people who tried to circumvent regions.

Then ask yourself is it worth compromising an Xbox account, which you could have had for over a decade, to save a few dollars.

Microsoft randomly crack the shits. They've done that forever.

No one can give you a definite answer. But one day Microsoft may.

It worked for me. My account is in Melbourne.

Did for me. I have US account and had bought the 3+3 deal from JB in the past. No dramas.

  • Does it include an eneba?

I bought three years of Brazil xbox gold at about $50 per year, then converted it all to Xbox Ultimate + PC with the upgrade thing. So I got three years of Xbox Ultimate + PC for about $150. I haven't used my xbox since I did this though, so maybe MS is actually getting the better half of this deal, paying about $4.50 a month for nothing.

My GamePass Ultimate is also collecting dust at the moment. It's been like that for at least 3 months.

    • Did that too but since I don't have the console, just used the PC library. It really isn't half bad if you're into strategy and/or light games, ie Gears Tactics, Endless Legend+Dungeon, Cities Skyline, TwoPoint Hospital, Battletech, Minecraft Dungeon etc.

"good morning, that's a nice Eneba"

:( $40.42 - $2 Paypal fee come on! and another $2 visa fee.

    No thank you.
Rather pay the few dollars directly to Microsoft.
