  • AU stock? Is this a parallel import from HK?

    • 100% AU Stock with a-tick approved

      • +2

Cool..clearly cheaper than ebay if you are looking for a genuine AU stock.

  • just slightly better than an average deal.

    Wait until iPhone4S lol.

Seriously thoguh. Wait until next Tuesday when Samsung will be throwing down the next Nexus. If anything, it should rip the bottom out of SG2 prices.

    • yea..probably will come down to $499. So wait and see then.

      • SS Galaxy 1 is selling for round 400 bucks so not that soon to get a S2 for 499. Maybe at the beginning of next year?

        • +1

Don't think, SS Galaxy 1 will still be 400 bucks. It will definitely come down too. 499 will be tempting. Wait and watch

    • +1

that's been postponed till at least november. Get the sgs2 now!

iPhones will always be overpriced ($700+ wasn't it?). It's practically part of their offering; "we WILL rip you off, now smile".

Anyway, you'll be lucky if any smartphone isn't obsolete within 2 years. Keep the investment low and expect to upgrade often.

      90% of the SGS2 for 60% of the price….

  • iPhone 4S was announced and iPhone 4 outright prices are still pretty high

    iPhone 4S 16GB - $799
    iPhone 4 16GB - $739 (mobiciti price)(can you give us a deal on these iPhone 4!)

With so many phones coming out from Samsung prices should go down!

    • Well..the price all the Apple products are always high. They control the price not the wholesaler.

      • isn't that price fixing?

      • They also have high resale values assuming the condition is in good nick. Just sold my 3GS 16gb for $270 on eBay.

  • Seems like a good deal. But as others stated wait a little longer and the prices will drop. I'll get my next big Android phones once there's some cheap 4G phones (1800,850,900 and 2100 would be awesome)

They're not Australian stock mate :)

      • What is the differenece?

        • Can you read?

        • those are parallel import or grey set, mate.

and you rather buy from mobileciti

  • Nokia C3-01 gold, do you have it?

    • No, sorry

  • Not too bad considering only about a week or so ago a couple of people were flogging them off in the forums for $550 and $575 respectively:
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/53883
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/53912

The second listing above was rather amusing, because they first listed a bargain at: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/53754 only to comment further down the page "awesome! so happy. have been on an old phone with no internet for 2 weeks and its killing me!" and then the next thing you know they reckon they got $575 for it, and gmail92 summed it up well:
"Im pretty sure this is the selling or swapping forum. If you want people to bid, go to ebay and do it there."
Obviously the SGS2 doesn't do it for some people :)

Seems the screen is smaller than Galaxy S2

    • Looks like it's postponed.

"Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced."

  • I am having trouble placing my order at that price..
I successfully applied the coupon in my shopping cart (which made it $598), but just before payment during the checkout process the price magically goes back up to $648.
    Anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: I've worked out the problem. As soon as you select free shipping, the coupon is no longer valid. I hope this is an error in the system, as the deal clearly states $598 WITH free shipping.

    • Sorry about this, We are looking into this issue now. But you can still let the order go and send us email. We will the credit back difference straightaway.

      • fixed, should be working

    • Yes I have the same problem so I emailed them about it. I'll give you an update when they get back to me.

      • Any chance on a deal or free shipping on

        or unbranded.

Plese use free shipping code for E900 "FSLGE900".

Share on ozbargain if you like the deal.

      • Coupon's now working, but I had trouble with your site. It says takes AMEX, with no mention of surcharge. After finding out a surcharge was added (after putting in all address detail etc), I could find no way to change my payment method. In the end, I had to switch browser and put it all in again. But anyway, good deal.

      • the free shipping code for E900 valid till 16/10/2011, while stock last.

  • Can we put the order thru & request for instore pick up?

    • You can pickup but offer finish today, Shop closed 2 hours ago at 5:30pm.

If you really want it come tomorrow, mention ozbargain and your name, I will let manager at Parramatta store know and approved this deal for you.

      • Sounds good, will come by this afternoon to the parra shop before 5.30pm.
Not sure which colour yet, will decide when pick up. This will be 'Unbranded' version I hope.
Definitely don't want a Vodafone version.

        • Yes, unbranded

  • Just wondering what is the "bonus" we are receiving?

    • Ok I've just received my order and there wasnt any bonus that came with it. Did anyone else get their bonus item/gift??

      • I also didn't receive any bonus gift. Was it just referring to possible free sim?
