Highly recommend these bottles. Have had one for 3 years now and the magnetic cap is actually such a QOL improvement.

  • Have one of these, love it to bits. Perfect size and no leakage.

Finally a similar product I can review as I have the regular Camelbak Chute!

    Positives:
    - Good form factor. I can hold in one hand without issues.
    - Has taken massive beatings on treks, travels and sport. The worst it has are scratches on the semi-transparent plastic.
    - No separate parts that can easily get lost. Good for travels.
    - The mounting ring on the lid is sturdy for hanging off stuff while travelling too.

    Negatives:
    - Biggest issue - If I'm on the go and use the bottle, it sometimes doesn't thread in correctly and ends up leaking. I know the solution is to obviously check I did it correctly but it's hard to tell sometimes. Note the Mag version in this deal seems to have a different seal mecahnism witha magnet I think.
    - Tougher to clean inide the lid as there is a cavity which isn't easy to access.
    - No way to one-handedly use the bottle. Not a deal breaker, but would be a great feature.
    - Doesn't fit typical bicyle bottle mounts.

    Bottom line:
    - For the price, I think it's a great bottle. Would buy again for quality.

It doesn't fit in a car's cup holder either.

Thanks for the reviews and op - purchased one!

  • Oh man, when I drink a bottle of water I hate when I licklicklick the threads or when I engulf the opening with my lips and find myself feeling all those nasty thread contours as I start sucking in my assigned liquids. This the perfect solution!

But srs, how well does this bottle seal up without threads?

There are threads on the inside (as opposed to traditional bottles having threads on the outside). No issues with sealing.

  • These are great and their warranty support is excellent. My nozzle broke/wore out, i sent them an email and they sent out a replacement no questions asked or receipt required (just a photo). The replacement has been flawless.

    • Dammit I threw mine out for a similar issue 😅

    • Yup, definitely, I had an eddy and the straw part broke, they gave me a new one no questions asked:

"The Got Your Bakâ„¢ Lifetime Guarantee covers all reservoirs, backpacks, bottles and accessories from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. CamelBak will repair or replace at its discretion any manufacturing defect in these products free of charge."

      Got that from the website.

  • Have the 750mL one, it's been great.
Doesn't fit in bike or car drink holders though.
