Single Vineyard – Dry Grown
This wine celebrates the planting of the Dam Break Shiraz vines at our McDonald Rd vineyard. The youngest of our vines have now reached maturity. The result is superb quality fruit that can only be found on Clare Valley dry grown vineyards.
Aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and hints of spice. Flavours are enhanced with careful maturation for 18 months in older French oak. Rich and dark, with powerful flavours, the wine has depth, intense character and is drinking superbly now.
It will continue to evolve and mature over the next 5 to 10 years.
