  • If you are not in a hurry go for it.
Still waiting on the card to be delivered from this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/541075 on the 29th May.

    • serious ? that is a hella long wait, I just bought the amazon deal from US (128gb) just before this was posted was kinda regretting as that will be a wait but not now.

  • Wonder why they are not on ebay anymore!

  • video monitoring cameras……hummm. are they thief-proof?

Having an sdcard in cameras as backup is best practise.
      a) it’s raw footage can be regarded as original footage
      b) thieves need physical access to every camera (time consuming and difficult if they are out of reach)
      c) second source incase thieves pinch the nvr and you don’t have real-time cloud backups
      D) second copy incase of nvr failure

      • most decent systems like Arlo allow an SD card into the base station, so no worries about theifs

        • The good thing with Alro is the Cloud Backup, so you should still have a picture in the cloud of the thief stealing the cameras.
The bad thing is like an NVR they get stolen, along with whatever SD card was installed.

Could be bias, as I would not recommend any current Wireless CCTV solution, as they do not constantly record. Pre-Records and Triggers are not substitutes for always recording.

  • I think I'll try officeworks in the morning, hopefully they will price match. Thanks OP.

Successful price matched at OW with postage added.

    • yup, same, just price matched with OW this afternoon. The guy a bit hesitant as he said he's never heard of Shopping Square, but he ended up reluctantly giving me the price match.

  • most likely san international card. The 64has a 3 warranty but website says 1 in Australia…. No code on the sale item on their website either and would probably explain the wait times from @Stato….
