  • Any big difference between this and $27 Xiaomi one?

The Withings probably has more metrics, if they are relevant. The big difference is that the Withings has wifi as well as bluetooth, so you don't need your phone lurking nearby to log the readings.

    • It uses wifi instead of bluetooth. Bluetooth ones are not compatible with all models of phones due to version difference. Integration of app and scale is very good as well. Battery life is pretty good. I been using for nearly a year without change of batteries and I track weight each day.

Looks like the regular model is 69$ on amazon which IMO is a better deal.

    • Yes I had seen that, this is the one I was after and has more features than that one including body composition. Body+ was sold out everywhere at RRP so for anyone interested I believe this is the best deal. I bought it from Myer the other night so I thought to put it here …

      • Any reason you chose this over the normal?

The features here dont really seem like a selling point to me for 30$

        • Body version calculates BMI based on your profile, this one has body composition through bioelectrical impedance analysis. I believe it is through conductivity between the feet.
The top model (Cardio) Does heart rate as well with more sensors. Added a link to OP for more details.
Thanks for the link, your link got more comparison details

I had preferred the white one, which JB has but is unavailable anywhere near me. That however is $134, so for $99 I'll be able to put up with the colour.

Now, to find someone I know with a Costco membership…

I bought white at RRP from JB a few weeks ago it is good solid product uploads data to their systems to be accessed from the app.

  • Dammit, just paid 142 dollaroos on Amazon
