This looks pretty cheap for nespresso pods and they are roasted in Australia with product designed inspired by the Australian landscape.

I think this is a new product as I have never heard of this brand before, but at this price probably worth a shot and you're also supporting Australian businesses

  • Looks like a good price! Just a general question, what nespresso compatible machines are good for 3rd party capsules? One reason I stopped using nespresso was that my machine back in the day (one of the original delonghi ones) didn't take a liking to 3rd party capsules (maybe pressure or something?). Are machines these days better? any recommendations on good value machines?

    • Define "didn't take a liking to 3rd party capsules"

      • In some cases didn't puncture the cap, and in other cases, it audibly sounded like it struggled more on 3rd party vs official capsules.

  • wonder if these are aluminum capsaules like L'or

I think for the most part all the current machines are fine with third party pods, mind you - the ones that have the automatic pod lever thingy (ie you drop it in, and it activates the lever automatically) do have issues with compressing them. I’ve got one of the old ones with the lever on top and that works fine.

I haven’t used Nespresso pods for years - They’re twice the price….Gotta be able to afford George Clooney somehow I guess.

I found the same thing, I've had one with the automatic/electric pod compressor thing break with compatible pods, the manual ones are fine. Go the cheapest machine, they all do the same thing :)

    • Cool, thanks for that! Will have a look around at machines (mine was back around when nespressos were first released).

These are the lever ones that are parent-proof :)

(Out of stock, but take a look at the photos, and you'll see the elbow-grease powered lever, no automatic motors that can be damaged my parents with a chopstick (don't ask how I know…) ).

        • Awesome, cheers, will keep an eye out!

  • Who is Alora Coffee Co , has anyone tried their coffee ?

  • Cannot find any information at all about this mob. No website or anything

    • I did a bit of googling and could not find anything about them either
