Hate to say it, but I agree.
It's just that streaming services have devalued one-time-view physical discs nowadays and very few care about audio/video quality.

I cant help but agree with you. I have blue ray xmen here and avengers movies, yet I watched some of them on streaming the other day….
And to think we once lived in an era where we had to change the channel manually at the tv and fiddle around with rabbit ear antennas to watch anything…

Streaming can't compete with 4K, for those that care about pic quality. Streaming services might advertise 4K, but it's not real 4k. Google it.
The majority of people don't care, but some still want the best pic quality available, especially when you get extras and improved sound.
^ This. I use streaming frequently for TV shows, however physical 4K media discs trump streaming quality, in both audio tracks and video (HDR/Dolby Vision).
