Anyone Bought Graphic Card @ Ninja.buy eBay?

Bought a brand new 2060 Super Ventus OC from Ninja.buy(seems to be a reputable seller), just received the item. Totally a used one.

Box unsealed. The S/N on the graphic card is different from the one on the box. A few scratches on the graphic card and the slot.

  • Dang that's horrible. That store, based on their ebay listing, does allow returns which is what you may have received (ie. a return item).

Haven't dealt with them, but I'd say you need to take it up with them and ebay at the same time.

    • Hi Porker,
Thanks for the reply. I raised the issue to ninja.buy and ebay. I supposed I will be fully refunded(including two postage costs) in this case?

      • Not necessarily - ebay may default to saying that you need to talk to the seller to resolve. If it's not resolved, then it may be escalated to ebay to review.

In years past whenever I had issue, I'd just about get a refund each time with ebay, but they now allow the seller to make comment on the issue, both directly to the buyer, but also (I believe) with the ebay review of these issues.

        • Thanks Porker. Just received a return postage label. I guess it's sorted out. I just couldn't believe a reputable seller would send me a used item or a return item in a wrong box.

  • Paypal has something called refunded returns, which will cover the cost of you returning the item. Either way, contact the seller through the return item escalation and explain the issue. If the seller doesn't accept the return you can escalate to eBay who will make a judgement. Make sure you document everything and upload it on the return item page.

  • We were comparing ninja with SQ. SQ costs a bit more but provides faster service. We received our order within 24 hours.

  • Probably why theyre so cheap, burnt out btc miners

  • You might have got a returned card. I would return it for an exchange and refund. They are legit but many computer stores seem to gut graphics cards for whatever reason, however the ones I've bought don't appear to be physically used as the security tape on the anti-static bag looks untampered.

    • If it was a returned item, the serial numbers on the box and the card should still have matched.

  • i think ninja = pcbyte

    • That's correct.
