  Isn't it interesting we are supposedly going into recession and people are struggling financially but these expensive Lego sets seems to sell like hotcakes?

    Not everyone is affected. My job is very safe and we didn't slow down at all due to COVID.

    There's not many truly recession proof jobs but front line health, emergency services, public transport and AusPost are all pretty safe bets.

    My spending and saving habits haven't changed and are highly unlikely to no matter how bad the economy does.

    On another note, this set is really good value at $300 considering the piece count plus the motor. Its has great playability as well.
