Gaming Laptop Recommendations- Metabox Option? (Budget $1500 - $2000)

I'm somewhat clueless when it comes to all the specs so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to do gaming and some photo editing on PS. Storage is a huge must. A 1tb ssd would be ideal, bonus points if I can add more storage. Would rather end up with too much than be stuck with too little again.

Games I'd like to be able to play
Outlast
Death Stranding
GTA 5
etc

Can anyone help with some advice? Is this over kill? Are there better laptops out there that you would recommend? Budget is $1500 - $2000

Specs for the metabox I was looking at.
Intel Core i7-10750H 6-Core
NVIDIA GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6
15.6" FHD IPS-Grade Edge-to-Edge Matte 120Hz LED
16GB DDR4 2666MHZ (1 x 16GB)
Kingston A2000 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD
No 2nd M.2 SSD Selected
Samsung 860 QVO 1TB SATA 3 SSD
Intel 9462 AC Dual Band WIFI/BT
External USB Slim DVD-RW Optical Drive
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
3 Year Metabox Platinum Care

I think you can get some RTX2060 laptops at that price… just search for previous deals…

Yep, at least a 1660Ti for that kind of money. See gaming laptops

    • Thanks, but like I said I'm clueless about this stuff.
What's the benefit of a rtx2060 ? I had a look at the deals FireRunner posted but they are all below 1tb of storage.
      Is it worth sacrificing storage?

      • You can almost always upgrade the storage yourself. In fact, there's likely a free bay which you can simply put a secondary drive into. It's very simply, just open up the back and install. Look up some youtube videos on the specific laptop on how to upgrade the storage
As for graphics cards, the 1650 is an entry level card, you probably won't make good use of the 120Hz display and i7 with it. The 1660Ti is about 50% more powerful and RTX2060 about 60% than the 1650, making much better use of the display and cpu.
        See some benchmarks here

        • okay, thank you. I'll keep an eye out for more deals

  • Can get something close to these specs for around $2000 from other retailers:

The Ryzen 4xxx series runs rings around Intel configs ;)
