Laptop and Monitor Arm Versus Sit Stand Riser

Legends!

After some advice. I'm setting up a new home office space and looking for a way to arrange my laptop, monitor and peripherals to allow for standing at the desk. Worth noting that I love in a double brick house so the arm could be mounted securely to the wall instead of the table.

Currently umming and ahhing between something like (not this specific item, but this style)

Or a riser, like (not this specific item, but this style)

Anyone have experience with items like these and have a preference one way or the other? I think I prefer the separation of peripheral and laptop to reduce vibration exchange, but I've no experience either way.

Thanks!
