My Samsung dishwasher, which is 6 years old, is showing an error '5E'. Tried opening it cleaning, but no luck, it stops at 18 mins :(
So should I get it repaired or just buy a new one?
How much does it generally cost to get dishwashers repaired (I know it seems like an open question we don't even know whats wrong with it!)
Otherwise, please pour in suggestion which is a decent dishwasher to buy - budget between $500 to $1100.

I tried cleaning filters, drain pine check done..cleaned it….need to check the drain pump now…
If you clean filter properly and drain dirty water via drain pipe . It should go away . How often have you cleaned the filter in last 6 years ?

Hi! For that amount you can afford an entry-level Miele when they have their regular $300 off promotions. We've been really happy with ours, so I'm happy to recommend them. We have a Bosch at work and I really don't like it.

Can you elaborate why you prefer the Miele vs the Bosch, thanks! Which models are they? I note there is quite a difference in their models and price points (I mean entry model vs high end ranges (for eg with Bosch it ranges between $700-$1500).
@buynnjy if you keep your eyes peeled you might snag a top end Bosch Serie 8 60cm for $1500-$1600 installed.
Even better, check out the Miele Outlet in your state.. Service level is non-existent, but the pricing can't be beat.
Prices have gone nuts, but we purchased 2x Bosch SMS88TI01A Serie 8 units last year from the Goodguys for $1188 each.
