  • Based on your own criteria only the Famosa (3k ride away) meets your 5k and below since the Scomadi is 6k + on roads.

To me, the Scomadi just looks like a re-badged Lambretta. Maybe If it was 20~30% delivery and the rest personal use, but not as a 100% delivery platform.

  • Peugeot Django is pretty stylish

Look at some of the dedicated delivery scooters like the Benly,, Tonelli, Sym or Kymco ones.

All well within that budget and are purpose build for the delivery service.

  • Go for the cheaper one. If its just for delivery.

As a delivery rider myself, I would say none of them.

I own a Honda Dio 110cc for 30.000km+ working as a Deliveroo rider and it has been extremely reliable and cheap on fuel.

I would suggest you buying one of those japanese scooters:

    Honda PCX 150cc (5k)
    Honda Dio 110cc (3k)
    Yamaha Nmax 155cc (5k)
    Suzuki Adress 110cc (3k)

Remember that you will put it to work very hard in extreme conditions, I usually ride 200+ km/day, around 1000km/week. Since then, all that I had to do so far was usual parts replacement, such as brake pads, tyres, drive belt, oil and fluids in general.

If you are able to ride a motorcycle as well, consider the Honda CB125E, which is a bit cheaper (2.5k), easy to ride and cheap general servicing.

    • I dont want to hijack the OP
Similar requirement but not for delivery only personal say drop off/pickup from/to train station and week-end groceries. We both are L, budget say 3 to 5K stretch to 6k, max 30Kms per day. which one should i go for thanks in advance guys.

      • Depends on your height/weight. If you are quite tall and want to ride comfortably, I would suggest either the NMAX 155 or the PCX 150cc. If you will ride most of the time alone and if you are 175cm or shorter, both Honda or Suzuki 110cc will get the job done.

        • I’m thinking of going for Yamaha nmax once mrs gets her L say next month hopefully

        drop off/pickup from/to train station
        We both are L

Which state are you in? as most states don't allow learner riders to have passengers(pillions).

        • Thanks
I’m in NSW just found L and P1 rider doesn’t allow pillions do have to wait easy 12 months
But I have full car and mrs has red p so should be good for now

      • DId you end up getting one?

  • Don't buy one, already too many on the streets.
