Help with purchasing a TV to display slides on

I'm looking to buy a TV which I can setup to play slides (either from PowerPoint or perhaps Google slides), and would then mount the TV on the wall as a display frame.

Does anyone have any experience with this setup, and which TV would you recommend for this purpose?

Thanks very much inn advance.

Option 1: Convert slides to images and use the display image function on TV to cycle through them.

Option 2: Convert slides to a video file and playback on repeat.

Option 3: Stream content via AirPlay/streaming device.

Option 4: Setup a NUC/Raspberry Pi etc to act as a permanent attached computer.

Which TV is irrelevant as long as has HDMI/USB input.

Some basic searching online will provide you plenty solutions.

Excuse my ignorance, but as I don't have muuch knowledge about TVs, do all TVs offer the display image function that you mentioned a soption 1?

Pretty much most modern TVs will. Sony's certainly do: https://www.sony.com.au/electronics/support/articles/0015500…

To play a photo as a slideshow (Photo)
Press the green button in thumbnail view to start slideshow.
To set Slideshow Effect and Slideshow Speed, press OPTIONS and select Playback Options.
To stop a slideshow, press RETURN.

  • Samsung Frame.

As a TV it's horrible (low specs), but for your purpose it's probably exactly what you're after.

It looks like a hung picture frame.

Images can be displayed over a network or USB.
