Yeah I know right.
I'm trying to figure out why it's so cheap there though is it like linked with the boom in mining or like is spudshed a secret good Samaritan funded by the mining industry to keep its workers in good spirits you know make stuff really cheap for their employees indirectly means increased work productivity indirectly.

Its similar to NQR. The companies are overstocked and the best before dates on most of Spudshed specials are expiring.
So why do they over stock and wouldn't coles and Woolworths have the same problems and thus give same discounts.
Where do the giants put their excess stock?
@AlienC: I'm pretty sure they just bully the suppliers into taking it back…Then the suppliers end up so desperate to move stock they give it to the likes of Spudshed at a loss.
@AlienC: I don't think spudshed intentionally overstock, rather supplier supply them short dated stock. Spudshed is just a clearing house.
Being low cal, are they any good?
For $2 I should probably just make the trip and find out
The vegan ones tasted like water but these should be better
I just bought the last 2 at Innaloo store :( tastes fantastic, not like the Blue Ribbon tubs there. Not artificially sweetened (tho 21% sugar), instead lower fat (6% - this is not low though!). Not even low calorie, 150cal per serve. Tastes like the real thing

This is far from 'low calorie'! The 'low' refers to 150 calories per serve, but it is still 600cal per (small) tub. Just bought the last 2 at Innaloo store :( tastes fantastic and not artificially sweetened (tho 21% sugar), instead lower fat (6%).
Note that according to the tub it contains 4 serves, which makes it 150cal per serve.
Wish they made icecream with low sugar high fat instead
Still nearly half the cals compared to my favourite choc chip cookie dough which is around 1100cals per tub.
I got a couple to try but may as well eat the real stuff as it's the creaminess and fat content that makes it so good.
Got the catalogue today, also has Tonight Dough pint slices for 50c again.
Just been thru Joondalup, about half a freezer of Carmel cookie left and around a freezer and a half of pint slices but quite a few people were taking full boxes so not sure how long it will last.
Australind had a half freezer full.too last night.
Any left at Innaloo/Bentley?

Damn, beat me to it. Usually check these on saturday as they usually have a couple of ice cream specials. Fingers crossed for the 20c golden gaytime to come back.
Oh and fwiw between this and the haagen das tubs for $2 WA is extremely spoilt. Coles putting them on special for $5 just doesnt cut it anymore
