How's this laptop for $1200? I am getting this laptop from a friend, which he hasn't used since he first bought? So need your suggestions. Only for work related purpose.

  It is about 2 years since launch.
  The touchscreen isn't very bright and it is a heavy laptop.
  Any transferrable warranty left?

  Yeah the specs are fairly old, i'd say its on par with a brand new $800 ryzen laptop at the moment. Wouldn't invest in old tech.

    Could you please recommend something? I'd give it to my sister who's working from home. So, looking for something around that budget? Thanks much!
