once i tasted juice from cold presser type of blender i cant go back to old hot blender like this nutris.
what do you guys think? cold vs hot

    • can you post a link of the type of machine that you are referring to?

i posted the top of the range, as usual you can find cheaper ones.
but, sadly it will still a bit more than this nutri

        • thanks for that.

just wanted to do some comparisons to see the difference.

          • @danzster: some said the cold is better because hot will destroy the vitamins inside the fruits.

@CyberMurning: Nutribullet 1200W owner here. The manual explicitly says you're not supposed to use any hot liquid.

I use it to make breakfast smoothies. Works perfectly.

No need to spend big on a cold press machine.

I'd say they're different purposes. The cold press juicer is not a blender (from what I remember), I would only use it for making juice or nut milk. With this kind of "rocket" blender, you can make juice, smoothies, or generally mix other things in (eg. veges, or even whole nuts).

    • They are completely different machines for different functions.
You just prefer juice over a smoothie type drink. Nothing to do with a cold pressed vs a nutribullet.

Bought one, thanks OP. It's the same price on their eBay store (and I had a $10 eBay coupon)!

  • 1000W motor base

    Easy-twist extractor Blade

    2x 700ml Tall cups

    590ml Travel cup

    2x Flip top lids

Company is so cunning not including lids with their base package or another cup so the deluxe version seems so much better.

    Lids are worth it though.

  • Anyone know if the cups in the older SERIES versions are compatible with this new PRO version?

How does this compare to the 900w mega pack? https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/nutribullet-900-watt-mega-pac…

I know it's 100w less but is it a big deal?

I'm inclined to get the 900w mega pack as it comes with another (milling) blade. Thinking of crushing nuts, grinding coffee, etc.

    • We use the second blade a lot for making Chutney (powdered form and the usual chutney)… for us the mega pack was and is perfect because we had an Indian mixer-grinder and the bush broke. This serves both the blender and the usual Indian mixer-grinder purpose..

If you dont know what they are: https://www.preethi.in/mixer-grinders

  • Is a Nutribullet worth it compared to some of the kmart/aldi brands?

I just received the 1000W Kogan one yesterday with my 28 degrees $20 discount. With free shipping they had at the end of last month, I had it for $40 delivered. I can only compare it with a 5yo 700W Ninja and it's at least on par.
The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have measurements on the side of the cups. Crazy!

      • $40 is a deal. Is it noisy?
