Anyone know if this is closer to a UE Boom or Megaboom for outdoor use? My Megaboom died.
Definitely would be boom. Xb32 would be comparable to megaboom
$129 for the XB32 too which is pretty good. Considering they're $149 at BigW.
I got the 2x previous model XB31's for $109 years ago and they've been great.
The big boy XB41 (XB42 doesn't exist) can be had for $199 at DJ's, and might be an option instead of 2x XB31s, saving a little money and complexity in exchange for flexibility.
Just got one from Officeworks, great price!
Only given it a quick test but it's definetly pushing for bass over a neutral sound. Bass reproduction is great and impressive for a unit this small (at the price) but at the expense of the high end sounding (relatively) rubbish. Very happy with it but the sound won't please everyone.

Good buying…and you can pair them for a good stereo image.
My wife bought one of these on sale as a gift in May at a higher price than this, we thought it was so great she immediately went out and bought another. Good volume, plenty of bass, and the light effects are great if you're doing shrooms.
Not sure whether you guys missed the recent $50 voucher from Sony for purchase $100 or more. I got it with $10 headphone : $94 + $10 = $104 - $50 = $54, thus sort of $49 for the speaker itself, a bargain.
