An OzBargain favourite for business shirts, TM Lewin has shut up shop courtesy of the Corona Virus shutdown. I guess you dont need smart new shirts to slob around the house on Zoom calls.

Don't worry. They're going online only so will still be around, just shutting physical stores.
Makes sense as many of them are in expensive retail places like train stations.

It was a relief to find out it was only the Aussie subsidiary.

Real shame they closed, really like their no-iron shirts plus the fact you can customise the collar girth.
Many years ago, supposedly the same men's shirt appeared in Country Road and Kmart.
Its Australian retail stores are closing, but most OzBargainers would have bought from their .COM.AU online store, which is probably hosted in UK & ships all the orders from UK.
Agree, orders probably fulfilled directly from wherever their production facility is (probably not in the UK). I remember a lot of the OzBargain posts though where people were going into retail outlets either to pickup online orders or to check sizing/try on items. Back to measuring yourself up I suppose.
Mmmm, I have a suit I needed to refund but couldn't take it back to store (closed anyway). Oh well off to ebay it is

I don't think most customers would pay up to x4 cost in store compared to their online offerings.Agreed, never made sense. 4 shirts in store close to $400. Order exact same shirts online, almost 1/4 the price.
I really do wonder how many more businesses we'll see shut due to this damn virus :(

Makes returns a bit of pain in the arse, previously you could mail stuff back to their retail stores for a refund.
Damn i bought a whole bunch of suits that I been waiting to return to them
And I been in touch with TM Lewin the whole time via email and they were extending their return policy and waiting for them to re-open their stores. Then just got the last email that said we have gone into administration
still need shirts to look professional, but can wear trackpants!
