Best laugh I had for a long time/

  • +2

Best pillows ever. I have a couple that are 12 years old and still super comfortable. Would buy more tomorrow if I needed to. That price is a bargain.

  • Bought this a little while ago, can't stand the latex smell

    • +1

Latex smell goes away after a while. Just need to air it out after you've removed it out of the packaging.

    • +1

I bought one several years ago, took a week to air out and 4 weeks ago I picked up one from MYER and it's still unusable.
I'm not sure if they changed something but the second one stinks so bad it's not funny.

  • Does anyone have any experience with this pillow? I'm a side sleeper and very fussy $70 seems like such a gamble for something that may or may not work…

    • +2

      Fellow side sleeper.

Excellent support across the pillow, so when you turn there will always be cushioning. Very bouncy as well. This one is quite low profile so consider getting the higher one.

    • +1

Side sleeper here with neck pain issue, used this pillow for a few months and no more pain. If you have shoulder issues I can suggest putting a low profile cushion under the armpit when sleeping, it'll help.

      • A low profile cushion? I get neck and shoulder/trap pain on the side I sleep and am struggling to find a pillow that suits me.

      • Which arm pit? The one underneath or the one on top?

        • +1

          The lower arm.

If you do this, you should know that it'll naturally incline you to roll in the opposite direction (idkw). If your bed isn't up against the wall, or your partner isn't a side sleeper with there back to you, HIGHLY recommend putting a pillow there. You start to roll in your sleep, then something subconscious as well kicks in, and you roll back to where you were.

I am in between decent pillows atm. Just ordered the TLC ClassicPlus as I like a low profile rathern than a mid-low profile pillow.

Also, it may help to place a low profile pillow squarely against your headboard of thebed, then, at 1/3~ish (it ain't precise) overlap, place your sleeping pillow on this. It seems to help alot.

I no longer snore (due to elevated head positioning) and no longer have kneck pain (due to type of continuous pillow density) and no longer roll around too much in my sleep (due to added length of pillow + pillow at my back).

ps. I also flip my matress even though they say its 'not neccessary'. It helps due to the coils in the mattress.

          Good luck.

I had one of these for years and absolutely loved it. I bought another one and it wasn’t quite as good. Then I tried the TLC pillow after reading a post on this site. I now have two of these and an old Dunlopillow also on the bed as my hubby has a shoulder injury and needs an extra. So, side by side, I way prefer the TLC. It’s an Aussie company too and it offers free shipping. The pillow is a bit bigger too, so two fit on my king bed nicely but still fit in standard slips. I am a side sleeper.

      • Which one did you order of TLC classic?

        • Yes

    • I bought the regular size from tlc latex, side sleeper, couldn't more highly recommend it. Same price, family company

    • Disrespect taken on board. No + for you.

I said 'No disrespect to the smart ozbargainers'

    • +1

      But why?

  • I looked at getting these a little while ago and when I looked into them if I recall they have changed manufacturers or using a different material or something and aren’t as good as they used to be (which they got their reputation for).

  • Great pillow - had one for 3 years.

Can't put a price on good sleep. Buy it.

  • Bought from kogan last week for $69 with free delivery, but they are out of stock at the moment. Amazon reviews were a bit mixed, with some people saying the quality is lower compared to 10+ years ago.

    • I bought one several years ago, took a week to air out and 4 weeks ago I picked up one from MYER and it's still unusable. I would agree that they changed something, I am thinking of returning as it's unusable.

bought 2 classic pillows from Kogan by using OZBARGAIN TIP I found on previous post:

    Create Kogan account.
Select your preferred dunlopillows and put on cart for 2-3 weeks. Kogan will send you unique code (30-50%)discount to your email. Then open Kogan first and got delivered within 2-3 days.Remove Kogan first when it is shipped.

I ended up paying $55 for each pillow and got delivered in 3 days with Kogan first. They are pretty nice pillows.

I bought Ecosa pillow before this and I found they are pretty firm for side sleepers. It gave me neck stiffness in the morning.

  • Mmmm, "Luxurious Latex". I have the High Profile one of these and love it. It must be at least 10 years old now. Very comfortable, great support, just the right height for me when sleeping on my side. But I do remember it had quite a strong smell when I first got it which took a few days to dissipate.

  • OOS online :(

  • Extremely disappointed.

I ordered at 6:30pm on Saturday July 4th. That was hours before it sold out online. After days of receiving email that Harris Scarfe were '9095 • Items being packed', I received an email today Monday 13th July at 3:45pm to say they couldn't source them and they'll refund my money.

I understand it must be frustrating running a brick and mortar legacy business with an afterthought online experience that it brings challenges. I've regularly had items not being able to be sourced by Country Road for example — but they literally worked their butts off in the first 3 days to source and split order deliveries to make it happen. If it's a refund, they'll go above and beyond — including extra gift credit for example.

But in this case to wait 9 days to hear 'whoops sorry', never again will I order from Harris Scarfe.

    • you're definitely in a bit of a pickle

  • Just bought the Ovela latex pillows for 39 bucks a pair with my kogan credit (so basically free). Hopefully they are decent
