Advice for Managing Multiple Fans for an ITX Build?

Hiyo, wanted to ask around how most of y'all manage multiple fans, especially for ITX builds?

Currently have 2 fan headers and I'm a little wary of putting more than 3 fans to a header because I've heard you nightmare stories about that.

Is a fan hub that plugs into sata ports preferable? Are there any other methods of managing fans?

General advice is 4 fans per 1A header. If you've got more than 8 fans in an ITX build then something doesn't seem right.

    • woah legit? I'm okay with that but kinda wished my case fans didn't speed up together with my CPU fan ya know, wish there was one more header I could count on 🤦‍♀️

  • Its all on default here, runs doom eternal on ultra

get silent fans and power them on molex to 3pin ?

    • my components didn't actually offer a molex/3pin thing, unless I'm missing something about how they look like

Get yourself something like this, https://www.umart.com.au/Deepcool-10-Ports-Fan-Hub_55281G.ht… , and you can control all the case fans off one fan header.

So your CPU fan can run off one header and all the case fans off the other.

    • yea was thinking of getting that, cheers!

Make sure you follow the CPU fan/header advice - your CPU fan should be the first thing to ramp up due to sudden loads, the case fans not so much.
