Best Smelling Fabric Conditioner

I remember when I was younger, laundry used to smell so fresh and nice weeks on.

I don’t have a problem with clothes being stinky, I just want them to smell nice and perfumey (if that’s a word). Seems like the clothes don’t have a scent at all.

I’ve just about tried every combination in the supermarket. I’ve recently tried ordering American products from Amazon, they haven’t arrived yet.

Which ones do you use?

I never use fabric conditioner, it ruins clothes, particularly active wear and towels.

I use OMO capsules (when on special), the fragrance lingers, but no nasty silicone or oils.

      Also the washing machine itself.

Kirkland is OK imho, just don't use it on towels are things that are meant to bead sweat it limits the fabrics ability.

Bosistos. Smells so good you'll be washing your clothes nine times a day.

I've used either Comfort or Cuddly, whichever was the cheapest, in my washing machine for 20 years and had no issues yet.

They both leave a long lasting fragrance that's not overpowering.

Keep fabric softener away from towels as the silicone based compound some brands have in them ruins their absorbency.

I second Comfort, specifically the Pure version as it just smells like fresh cotton so not overpoweringly strong.

Although I have used it on my towels for years with no problems with absorbency.

It a pretty subjective question as we all have different tastes. In any case, I like the smell of comfort pure.
